Friday, November 11, 2022, the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) welcomed an offline visit to Nusa Cendana University (Undana) in Room PA 209, Building A, UI Health Sciences Cluster (RIK). The purpose of this meeting is to explore cooperation in education, research, community service and student service comparative studies.
The visit was received by the Deputy Dean for Resources, Ventures and General Administration of FPH UI, Dr. Milla Herdayati, S.K.M, M.Sc.; FPH UI Alumni and Venture Relations Cooperation Manager, Indri Hapsari Susilowati, S.K.M., M.K.K.K., Ph.D.; FPH UI Academic Manager, Dr. Laila Fitria, S.K.M., M.KM .; FPH UI General Administration Subunit Coordinator, Dian Prananda Wardhani, S.S.; FPH UI Student Affairs Subunit Coordinator, Fitrya Nuraini, S.K.M .; FPH UI Public Health Information Center Subunit Coordinator, Fikri Wijaya, S.Sos.; FPH UI Information Technology Subunit Coordinator, Eddy Afriansyah, S.Kom, M.Si; and Coordinator of Alumni and Venture Relations Cooperation Subunit, Adi Putranto, S.E.
Meanwhile, the presence of the FPH Undana team was led by the Dean, Dr. Apris Adu, S.Pt., M.Kes.; Deputy Dean for Resources, Ventures and General Administration, Dr. Marylin Susanti Junias, S.T, M.Kes .; Coordinator of Public Health Science Study Program, Dr. Andreas Umbu Roga, M. Kes and his staff.
The Faculty of Public Health, Nusa Cendana University currently has 3 (three) study programs, namely Bachelor of Public Health, Bachelor of Psychology, and Master of Public Health. On this visit, FPH Undana proposed cooperation related to optimizing the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which includes three aspects, namely education and teaching, research, and community service.
“FPH Undana has students totaling around 2500, with a background as a city that has opportunities for developing dry land and tourism, making us moved to follow the flow of scientific developments in public health and actively build communication and synergistic relationships, especially with FPH UI,” said the Dean of FPH Undana, Dr. Apris Adu, S.Pt., M.Kes.
Deputy Dean for Resources, Ventures and General Administration, Dr. Milla Herdayati, S.K.M, M.Sc., welcomed the request for this collaboration by referring to the availability of various aspects in the academic sphere.
“FPH UI certainly warmly welcomes the request for cooperation from Nusa Cendana University, seeing the availability of UI which has grants and community service, research plans for publication of Q1 and Q2 level journals, availability of human resources in Masters and Doctoral study programs, and with the Merdeka Learning Campus program. Merdeka (MBKM) which can increase the role of collaboration between the two parties,” said Dr. Milla, in the cooperation discussion.
Further discussions were carried out dynamically with various matters that have good prospects for the partnership of both parties. FPH UI as the oldest public health institution in Indonesia hopes that it can contribute as much as possible to help and guide other health institutions to develop together to become better. (AHS)
