FKM UI Holds Online Outreach of Master’s Programs to Prospective Students

On Saturday, June 20^th, 2020, the Faculty of Public Health Universitas Indonesia / FKM UI held an outreach of the Master’s Program through online video teleconferencing apps. The FKM UI Manager of Partnerships, Alumni Relations and Ventures, Dr. Besral, SKM, M. Sc moderated the event and the FKM UI Dean, Dr. dr. Sabarinah Prasetyo, M. Sc delivered an opening remark. In her remarks, Doctor Rina said that the introduction or outreach aimed at providing an overview of the Master’s Program at FKM UI to prospective new students.

FKM UI has several graduate programs that are Master’s Program in Hospital Administration Studies (KARS) chaired by Dr. Ede Surya Darmawan, SKM, MDM, Master’s Program in Public Health chaired by Dr. Budi Hartono, S.Si, MKM, Master’s Program in Epidemiology chaired by dr. Mondastri Korib Sudaryo, MS, DS.c, and Master’s Program in Occupational Safety and Health chaired by Dr. dr. Zulkifli Djunaedi, M.App. Sc. The four Master’s programs are divided into two types, namely courses and research in the Master’s Programs in Public Health Science and Epidemiology and courses and case studies in the Master’s Programs in Hospital Administration and Occupational Health and Safety.

Each Master’s Program available at FKM UI has been accredited and taught by lecturers and teaching staff who are experts in their fields. Achievements and competencies prepared for the FKM UI Master’s Programs graduates further aim at responding to challenges by a direct engagement and contribution to the health of the Indonesian people and the world.

The event also presented technical description of courses including the number of mandatory credits that must be completed, student quotas, course requirements, tuition fees, as well as existing course methods, namely offline and online learning. In addition, prospective new students for the FKM UI graduate programs were given information on registration guidelines that could be done through the entry selection SIMAK S2 UI opened from June 19^th to July 19^th, 2020.

The event was closed with a Q&A session from the participants. By the outreach of the program presented, prospective students of the FKM UI Master’s programs would know comprehensively about the program. (MFH)
