The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) was chosen by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) as the first State University in Indonesia to become the Locus for Monitoring and Evaluation of Vulnerable Group Friendly Facilities and Infrastructure in 2023 along with four other agencies under the Ministry of Education and Culture.
In the framework of implementing the Monitoring and Evaluation of Vulnerable Group Friendly Infrastructure Facilities in 2023, the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan-RB) carried out desk evaluation activities for all loci both from ministries/institutions/local governments online on Thursday, 11 May 2023. The desk evaluation is carried out based on the results of collecting evidence supporting the provision of vulnerable group-friendly infrastructure that has been sent by each UPP locus of ministries/agencies/regional governments. A total of 90 locus units at the ministry/agency level, 68 locus units at the provincial government level and 68 locus units at the district/city level participated in this desk evaluation stage.
In his presentation, FPH UI said that FPH already has 12 facilities and infrastructure that are friendly to vulnerable groups within the faculty. These facilities and infrastructure are special parking areas, guding blocks, ramps, handrails, wheelchairs-canes-crutches, priority waiting chairs, special counters, special toilets, children’s play areas, lactation rooms, assistive devices for the blind and aids for the deaf.
