On Wednesday, 24 May 2023, the Laboratory of the Department of Occupational Health, and Safety (OHS) Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) received a study visit from the Rafflesia College of Health Sciences (STIKes) Depok. Received at the FPH UI OHS Laboratory, which is also the Center of Excellent Occupational Health and Safety, located on the 3rd Floor of the RIK UI Building, 12 participants attended this visit. Present as a resource person from FPH UI was the Head of the FPH UI OHS Laboratory, Dr. Hendra, S.K.M., M.K.K.K., and FPH UI OHS Laboratory Assistant, Raden Yusia Wulandari Ningrum, M.Sc.
On this visit, Dr. Hendra explained material related to industrial hygiene such as noise, vibration, lighting, and dust. Apart from that, the laboratory assistant also introduces and practices the operation of parameter tools related to the industrial hygiene material.
Through this study visit, it is hoped that STIKes Raflesia Depok students can understand the operation of OHS tools, especially in the field of industrial hygiene, both in theory and in practice measuring OHS parameters using measuring devices. (wrk)
