The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) held an Odd Semester 2022/2023 Pre-Graduation activity on Thursday, 9 March 2023 at the UI Convention Center. The pre-graduation event was attended by 271 prospective graduates consisting of 107 prospective graduates from the undergraduate level, 154 prospective graduates from the master’s level, and 10 prospective graduates from the doctoral level.
Opened by the Dean of FPH UI, Prof. dr. Mondastri Korib Sudaryo, M.S., D.Sc., this event was also attended by the Deputy Dean for Education, Research and Student Affairs, Dr. Ir. Asih Setiarini, M.Sc.; Deputy Dean for Resources, Ventures and General Administration, Dr. Milla Herdayati, S.K.M., M.Sc.; managers, study program heads, department heads and unit coordinators. In addition, the Vice Chairperson of ILUNI FPH UI, dr. Hariyadi Wibowo, M.A.R.S.
“This year all study programs at FPH UI have been accredited superior at the national level. Three study programs have also received international accreditation from AHPGS with the title of accredited without any condition. This is the starting point for FPH to continue moving to an international point. This achievement is of course made for students and alumni. By maintaining the quality of education at FPH UI, of course FPH will produce quality students and graduates,” said the Dean of FPH UI in his remarks. Apart from the Dean of FPH, the Vice Chairperson of ILUNI also gave remarks to prospective graduates who will soon join as members of ILUNI FPH UI. “ILUNI FPH UI is a forum for exchanging information for FPH alumni. Hopefully the bonding between members will get stronger so that together we can make a good contribution to FPH and the community,” said dr. Hariyadi Wibowo, M.A.R.S.
At this pre-graduation event, undergraduate students gave video presentations showing the changes in each prospective undergraduate graduate from life as freshmen, juniors, sophomores, and seniors. This video makes prospective graduates replay their memories of their time studying as students at FPH UI. In addition, masters level students also performed a trio singing a song from Project Pop entitled Remember Today. This song succeeded in making the graduation atmosphere very memorable for all prospective graduates and invited guests who attended. (wrk)
