The Faculty of Public Health (FKM) of the Universitas Indonesia (UI) has held a debriefing of Kerja Praktik Kesehatan Masyarakat (KPKM) activities based on Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) on September 26-30, 2022 for 15 FPHUI students. KPKM-MBKM is a course developed with partners and has a value of 20 credits. This course is intended for students of at least semester 7 with the aim of increasing the competence of FPHUI graduates.
This year, KPKM-MBKM collaborated with the Depok City Health Office, especially with the Puskesmas in Depok City. KPKM activities consist of 16 weeks focusing on health digitalization in an effort to prevent and reduce stunting. In addition, students were also asked to create manuscript reports and infographics and then disseminate them.
The first week of KPKM activities was filled with debriefing from FPHUI. The first day of the debrief was filled with an explanation of the syllabus and assignments by Abdul Kadir, S.K.M., M.Sc., Lecturer of the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) FPHUI. The briefing material consisted of nutritional problems and measurement of nutritional status of toddlers delivered by Nurul Dina Rahmawati, S.Gz., M.Sc; information systems delivered by Popy Yuniar, S.K.M., M.M., and Dr. Besral, S.K.M., M.Sc.; recording and reporting delivered by Trisari Anggodowati, S.K.M., M.Epid., Ph.D. and Renti Mahkota, S.K.M., M.Epid.; and weighting method by Dr. Puput Oktamianti, S.K.M., M.M..
This KPKM based on MBKM is expected to increase the achievement of stunting reduction targets, increase cooperation between FPHUI and the Health Office and Puskesmas in Depok City, and increase students’ knowledge and skills in analyzing and overcoming existing health problems. (WR)
