Lia Gardenia Partakusuma is a part of Pusat Jantung Nasional (National Cardiovascular Center) Harapan Kita Board of Director serving as the Director of Planning, Organization, and General Affairs. National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita is a specialist hospital that has become a national referral center for the management of heart and cardiovascular disease. The hospital is located in Slipi, West Jakarta and was inaugurated on November 1985. As a National Cardiovascular Center, the hospital also serves as an education, training, and research center in the field of cardiovascular health apart from providing cardiovascular health services.

Lia G. Partakusuma received her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Padjajaran on 1986. On 1992, she continues her study on Clinical Pathologist at Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia. After completing her degree in medicine, she started to took interest in management especially in the hospital and health care facilities settings. Her interest led her into getting a master’s degree from the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia in which she majored in Hospital and Health Care Facilities Administration/Management on 2011.

Before becoming the Director of Planning, Organization, and General Affairs at Pusat Jantung Nasional (National Cardiovascular Center) Harapan Kita, she used to work as the Director of Medical and Nursing at Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat (Central Public Hospital) Fatmawati from 2010 to 2015. She used to work as the Director of General, Human Resources, and Education too at Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat (Central Public Hospital) Persahabatan from 2006 to 2010. Nowadays, she serves as the Secretary General for Perhimpunan Rumah Sakit Indonesia (Indonesian Hospital Association) as well as the Director of Planning, Organization, and General Affairs for Pusat Jantung Nasional (National Cardiovascular Center) Harapan Kita.
