Dr. Misnaniarti, S.KM, M.Kes
Misnaniarti is a Lecturer and the Dean for Faculty of Public Health at Universitas Sriwijaya, South Sumatera. It is a public research, teaching, and learning center which has contributed significantly in the development and advancement of sciences, technologies, arts and cultures. It has two main campus, the first one is located in Palembang, the capital city of South Sumatera Province, and the second one is located in Indralaya, Ogan Ilir Regency which approximately 32 km away from Palembang. The university has obtained accreditation from the Indonesia’s National Accreditation Board of Higher Education which resulted as outstanding (A).
Misnaniarti received her bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia. She majored in Health Services Management and graduated in 2000. A year after graduation, she became a lecturer at the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Sriwijaya. On 2005, she continues her master’s study in Public Health Policy at the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia and graduated two years later. She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Public Health and General Preventive Medicine Residency Program, Health Policy on 2016.
Before becoming the Dean for Faculty of Public Health, Misnaniarti was the Head of Nutrition Department and concurrently the Coordinator of Nutrition Study Program. She served on the roles for two years before getting inaugurated as the Dean for Faculty of Public Health. She was inaugurated by the Chancellor of Universitas Sriwijaya, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Anis Saggaff, MSCE, on April 23rd, 2020. She has published several scientific articles; her most recent work is called “Influence of Good Governance Implementation on Healthcare Performance in three Provinces in Indonesia” which was published on Indian Journal of Public Health Research and Development.
