Lazada Indonesia is a subsidiary of Lazada, an e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia. Founded in 2012, Lazada is a member of the Alibaba Group and since then has accelerated the shopping process in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam through commerce and technology. Currently, Lazada Indonesia has several office locations and warehouses to support their activities.
Every year, Lazada Indonesia always opens internship opportunities for college students. In 2021, there was a student from the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia who majored in Occupational Health and Safety who got the opportunity to participate in the internship program there. The internship was conducted at Lazada Indonesia’s warehouse in Cilodong, West Java and lasted for three months. During the internship period, the student was assigned to conduct safety training, safety inspection and safety induction, as well as planning a risk management plan for the company’s latest project.
