PT Air Liquide Indonesia (PT Air Liquide) is a multinational company that focuses on providing gasses, technologies, and services for Industries and Healthcare Facilities. Currently serving in 75 countries, PT Air Liquide has continuously provided oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen for its clients. The company started their business in Indonesia in 1993 and since then has served the steel, petrochemical, and manufacturing industries in West Java and Sumatra.
For the internship period in 2021, there were two participating students from the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia. The students were given the opportunity to deep dive about the company’s safety culture: Safety of Individuals, Road Safety, and Process Safety or more commonly known as the Three Axes. Students also learned about the company’s environmental compliance towards the Greenhouse Gas Emissions, Avoided Emissions, and Water Management. The internship period lasted for three months and was held in their Cibitung Factory in Bekasi Regency.
