Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara TK.I R. Said Sukanto or R. Said Sukanto Bhayangkara Hospital is a Type A Hospital located in East Jakarta, DKI Jakarta. It provides healthcare services including maternity and neonatal, cardiovascular, nutritional care, and other supporting services such as emergency unit, laboratorium tests, and pharmacy. It is operated by the Indonesian Police and staffed by a group of general practitioners and nurses.
It is very common for students from the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia to participate in an internship program held by a General Hospital. However in 2021, there was only one student from the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia who participated as an intern for three months at R. Said Sukanto Bhayangkara Hospital. During the internship period, the student was given the opportunity to gain firsthand experience of the epidemiology surveillance implementation, biostatistics analysis, and health promotion to improve their skills. The student also assisted in social programs held by the hospital such as blood donors program and basic health check up.
