“Apart from being a tradition, this event should be a continuation of our social practices after the month of Ramadan. The positive value of halalbihalal, among other things, is strengthening human relations,” said the Dean of FPH UI in his remarks at the Halalbihalal Idul Fitri 1444 Hijriah event, Thursday, May 4, 2023.
The Faculty of Public Health (FPH), Universitas Indonesia (UI), held the Halalbihalal Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijriah event with the theme “Strengthening Ukhuwah and Korsa Spirit: Moving Forward Together Towards FPH UI with Integrity”. This event was held completely offline in Hall A of FPH UI.
Attended by leaders and the entire FPH UI extended family, this event presented K.H. Muhammad Cholil Nafis, Lc., M.A., Chairman of the Central Indonesian Ulama Council in the Field of Da’wah and Ukhuwah as a resource person; Muhammad Abiyyu Akmal, FPH UI Regular Undergraduate Student of Environmental Health Class of 2019, as the Al Quran reader, and Dian Prananda, S.S., Coordinator of the General Administration Unit of FPH UI as a saritilawah reader.
In his tausiyah, K.H. Muhammad Cholil Nafis, Lc., M.A., Ph.D., said that one of the Halalbihlal implementations is to strengthen ukhuwah, good human relations, to forgive each other for mistakes made. “People who can maintain ukhuwah are people who can maintain their ego, people who are emotionally mature. This is taught during the month of Ramadan,” said K.H. Muhammad Cholil Nafis. Meanwhile, the spirit of corps or the spirit of intimacy guarantees internal solidarity where this is useful for strengthening the foundations of a relationship, especially relations within institutions.
Apart from the tausiyah and the main event, namely greetings between the leaders and the entire FPH UI extended family who were present, there was also a special performance from Trio Adiyos who sang a song with the title Finally which was popularized by Band Gigi. Adiyos is an acronym for Asih namely Dr. Ir. Asih Setiarini, M.Sc., Deputy Dean for Education, Research and Student Affairs; Dina namely Nurul Dina R., M.Sc., Lecturer at the Department of Nutrition; and Yoslien Sopamena, M.K.M., Lecturer in the Department of PKIP FPH UI.
