Four fields of science at the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI), namely Public Health, Epidemiology, Healthcare Management and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) achieved the best ranking in Indonesia based on the World Ranking Institute, EduRank.
EduRank is an independent international ranking agency in America that measures the performance of universities, faculties, or scientific fields throughout the world. EduRank is an independent, metrics-based ranking of 14,131 universities from 183 countries. EduRank uses the world’s largest database of scientific papers with 83,166,817 scientific publications and 1,801,313,576 citations to rank universities across 246 research topics. Apart from that, EduRank also makes assessments based on research results, non-academic excellence, and alumni influence. EduRank looks at the profiles of alumni who have contributed more to the country and the world through Wikipedia pages to make an assessment.
Apart from crowning the four fields of science at FPH UI as the best field of science in Indonesia, it was also stated that Public Health is in position 59 in Asia and 439 in the world as recorded on the page https://edurank.org/medicine/public/id/. Epidemiology itself occupies 91st position in Asia and 499th in the world as recorded on the page https://edurank.org/medicine/epidemiology/id/. Meanwhile, Healthcare Management occupies 36th position in Asia and 383rd in the world as recorded at https://edurank.org/medicine/administration/id/. Meanwhile, OSH is in 60th position in Asia and 494th in the world as recorded on the page https://edurank.org/business/occupational-safety/id/.
