Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) students have made proud achievements in various national level competitions. During May 2023, FPH UI students have recorded 8 achievements in these competitions.
Some of the achievements achieved by FPH UI students include:
- Suci Pascaramadhani and team, 2021 Public Health Regular Undergraduate Students won 2nd place in the 2023 Nursing Debate Competition organized by Jambi University on May 8, 2023. The debate competition had the theme “Improving Student Quality by Growing Critical, Creative Thinking Capabilities, and Democratic”.
- Yuby Abigail and Kristina Adjie, Regular Undergraduate Students in Nutrition 2020 won 1st place in the 2023 Avicenna National Poster Competition organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto on May 15, 2023, with the theme “Innovation of The Z Generation in Implementing the Achievement of SDGS 2023”. Yuby and Kristina made a poster with the theme “Exploration of TB Prevalence” as an effort to achieve SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) number 3, namely good health and well-being.
- Davin Edbert Yang, 2020 Regular Undergraduate Student in Nutrition won the Best Delegate title in the United Nations conference simulation competition, at COP28 (The 28 Conference of the Parties) discussing “Facing Loss and Damage: Reawakening the Purpose of Climate Finance in Reaching Nationally Determined Contribution (NDCs)” organized by the Indonesia Model United Nations (IMUN), University of Indonesia on 11-14 May 2023
- Nadhir Wardana Salama, Sabbina Maharani, and Zakia Nursyafiya Sidik, 2020 Regular Undergraduate Students in Public Health won Favorite Winners in the National Public Poster Competition organized by the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. The poster made by Nadhir and the team has the theme “How is Zero Waste Implemented in the Era of Society 5.0?”.
- Rachel Janetta, 2023 Undergraduate Student in Nutrition 2020 won 3rd place in the Bio Expo 2023 National Photography Competition organized by the Jambi University Biology Education Student Association on May 21, 2023. Rachel chose the theme “Natural Beauty of Indonesia” with a portrait of the beauty of the Pink Beach located in East Nusa Tenggara.
