The Assessor of the Independent Accreditation Institute for Higher Education Health (LAMPT-Kes) conducted a field assessment of the Study Program (Prodi) Master of Hospital Administration Studies (KARS) Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI). This assessment is part of the accreditation of the KARS Study Program by LAMPT-Kes. The two assessors present were Prof. Dr. Mohammad Zen Rahfiludin, SKM, M.Kes., and Dr. drg. Setya Haksama, M.Kes., who conducted a 3-day field assessment on 2 – 4 August 2023.
This event was attended by the Dean of FPH UI, Prof. dr. Mondastri Korib Sudaryo, M.S., D.Sc.; Deputy Dean for Education, Research and Student Affairs FPH UI, Dr. Ir. Asih Setiarini, M.Sc., Chair of the KARS Masters Study Program, Dr. Ede Surya Darmawan, S.K.M., M.D.M. “Last year, KARS obtained accreditation from the international accreditation agency AHPGS. Hopefully the accreditation results this time will be good. These various accreditation processes have become our encouragement to always maintain quality in education at FPH UI,” said the Dean of FPH UI, Prof. dr. Mondastri Korib Sudaryo, M.S., D.Sc., in his speech. Prof. Mondastri also expressed pride in the KARS Masters Program because it had produced great people who were active in various fields and institutions.
The accreditation assessment series was opened with a presentation by Dr. Ede Surya Darmawan as Head of the KARS Masters Program by presenting new things that do not yet exist in forms such as the focus of the KARS Study Program which encourages educational equity by implementing distance education classes, updating the curriculum to suit the needs and developments of national policies, and preparing for internationalization study program
This series of accreditation assessments includes data confirmation, review of facilities and infrastructure, interviews with study program lecturers, students, education staff, alumni, and external stakeholders. Not to forget, there was also feedback from the assessors after the entire series of assessments was carried out. (AAP)
