Friday, 9 December 2022, the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) received a practical visit from the Bureaucratic Reform/Integrity Zone (Zona Integritas) Assessor Team at Higher Education in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek). FPH UI as one of the work units receiving the Integrity Zone (ZI) Free from Corruption Area (WBK) title has again won the trust to share good practices, this time to participants in the 5th and 6th batches of RB/ZI Development Assessment Technical Training. offline in the FPH UI Doctoral Promotion Room was attended by 50 participants from 20 State Universities (PTN).
“FPH UI is trusted as a work unit with the title of Zone of Integrity in 2020. Where it is hoped that through this predicate all members of the work unit will apply the principles of integrity in their daily lives. But actually, not only work units with the ZI predicate, all State Civil Apparatus (ASN) must have integrity,” said Deputy Dean for Resources, Ventures and General Administration of FPH UI, Dr. Milla Herdayati, S.K.M., M.Sc., in her remarks. Representatives from the Ministry of Education and Culture’s Staff Education and Training Center also gave a speech. “Our goal in coming to FPH UI is to find out how FPH UI can build good Bureaucratic Reform. Today’s good practice visitation is also a form of enrichment and strengthening of the material that will be followed by the training participants.”
Furthermore, Prof. Dr. dr. Sabarinah Prasetyo, M.Sc., Head of the FPH UI Integrity Zone Development Team explained two materials. The first presentation was material that was displayed by FPH UI while undergoing a
ZI WBK assessment, while the second presentation explained the process of FPH UI achieving this title. One of the innovations made by FPH UI is building the MonaliZI application for monitoring and evaluation of the Integrity Zone. “We make various applications with interesting names or keywords to facilitate the internalization of the programs, then carry out regular monitoring and evaluation,” concluded Prof. Patience.
One of the training participants then argued that the flow of services provided by FPH UI was very good. “All service provider stakeholders at FPH UI have been very good at carrying out their duties. Hopefully this quality of service can be implemented in more universities,” he said. (WR)
