The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) at the Universitas Indonesia (UI) continues to strive to support lecturers and researchers in innovating and creating useful ideas for the world of education and the wider community. This year, FPH UI lecturers and researchers have been ranked in the AD Scientific Index (Alper-Doger Scientific Index) World Scientist and University Ranking 2023 Including in the Top 100 Scientists in Indonesia in several categories which were released on August 4, 2023.
The lecturers and researchers are dr. Pandu Riono, M.P.H., Ph.D., won 2nd place in the field of Biostatistics; Dr. dr. Rita Damayanti, MSPH won 3rd place in the field of Health Sciences; Prof. Drs. Bambang Wispriyono, Apt., Ph.D was ranked 5th in the field of Health Sciences; Ir. Ahmad Syafiq, MSc, PhD ranked 9th in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics; Prof. Dr. dr. Ratu Ayu Dewi Sartika, Apt., MSc was ranked 14th in the field of Epidemiology and Public Health; Prof. Dr. Dewi Susanna, dra, M.S. ranked 16th in the field of Epidemiology and Public Health; Dr. Besral, SKM, MSc ranked 22nd in the field of Epidemiology and Public Health; The late Prof. Dr. dr. Adik Wibowo, MPH ranked 36th in the field of Epidemiology and Public Health; Dr. Ir. Trini Sudiarti, M.Si was ranked 50th in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics; Prof. dr. Mondastri Korib Sudaryo, MS, DSc ranked 71st in the field of Epidemiology and Public Health; and Drs. Dadun, M.Kes., Ph.D was ranked 12th in the field of Health Sciences.
The AD (Alper-Doger) Scientific Index is a study that shows the total and productivity coefficients of publication performance over the last five years of scientists, based on H-Index scores and citations according to Google Scholar. The index provides rankings and assessments of scientists in a field of study and academic branches from thousands of universities and hundreds of countries. AD Scientific Index uses a ranking method developed by Prof. Dr. Murat ALPER & Associate Prof. Dr. Cihan DÖÄžER. As for the ranking of scientists, it is assessed from various subjects including Agriculture and Forestry, Arts, Design and Architecture, Business & Management, Economics and Econometrics, Education, Engineering & Technology, History, Philosophy, Theology, Law/ Law and Legal Studies, Medical and Health Sciences, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences and so on.
This achievement is certainly not something that comes suddenly, but requires adequate planning, effort and resources. “I think the faculty would like to thank the scientists at FKM UI who have taken part in their respective fields because this makes the faculty very proud. We hope that more and more of his works will be useful for society, meaning that there will be more benefits for other people, especially in the fields of public health, welfare and quality of human resources,” hoped the Deputy Dean for Education, Research and Student Affairs at FPH UI, Dr. Ir.
