On 23-24 February 2023, the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) at the University of Indonesia (UI) attended an invitation from Universitas Mitra Indonesia (UMITRA) Lampung to provide socialization of the Education program at FPH UI. This invitation is a form of implementation of the collaboration between the two parties whose cooperation agreement was signed on January 25, 2023. At the event which was held in the Hall of the UMITRA Building, FPH UI was present by the Dean, Prof. dr. Mondastri Korib Sudaryo, M.S., D.Sc.; Deputy Dean for Education, Research and Student Affairs, Dr. Ir. Asih Setiarini, M.Sc.; and Academic Unit Staff, Bangga Agung Satrya, S.K.M.
Dean of FPH UI, Prof. dr. Mondastri Korib Sudaryo, M.S., D.Sc., in this event gave a speech as well as briefly explained the history of FPH UI until it developed into the number 1 (one) public health higher education institution in Indonesia. Meanwhile, Deputy Dean for Education, Research and Student Affairs at FPH UI, Dr. Ir. Asih Setiarini, M.Sc., gave an explanation regarding the Postgraduate Study Programs at FPH UI, namely the Public Health Sciences Master’s Study Program, the Epidemiology Masters Study Program, the Hospital Administration Studies Masters Study Program, the Occupational Safety and Health Masters Study Program, the Doctoral Studies in Public Health Sciences and Doctoral Study Program in Epidmeiology.
Apart from UMITRA students and lecturers, this socialization event was also attended by participants from the Health Office, health workers from hospitals around UMITRA, and the general public. Participants enthusiastically took part in the socialization by asking various questions including journal publications, postgraduate entry requirements and study assignments. (wrk)
