FPH UI Public Health Journal Welcomes the Proposal for the International Conference on Health Development UPN Veteran Jakarta

As one of the public health journals that has national and international accreditation, Kesmas: National Public Health Journal (National Public Health Journal) is often a destination for researchers to publish their research. On September 1 2023, a representative from the organizer of the International Conference on Health Development (ICHD) Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ), Dr. Laily Hanifah, S.K.M., M.Kes., and Apt. Riswandy Wasir, Ph.D., came to the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) to propose collaboration for publication. Welcomed by the Chief Editor of Public Health, Dr. Al Asyary, S.K.M., M.P.H., ICHD UPNVJ representative stated that his party intended to publish the results of the conference they held in the FPH UI Public Health Journal.

Journal of Public Health welcomes the proposal from ICHD UPNVJ. Collaborating with national and international conferences is one way to promote the existence of the Public Health Journal. Apart from that, this can also open opportunities for Public Health to increase the stock of script banks. However, this cooperation request will be followed up through several stages. Public Health cannot provide a specific issue for one conference, so all conferences that wish to collaborate must still submit their articles to go through the review process, as has been the case so far. This is because in one edition the author’s affiliation must vary. Apart from that, in the review process, the bestari partners and the editorial board have the right to decide whether the articles from the conference meet the Public Health criteria and are suitable for publication.
