The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) at the Universitas Indonesia (UI) through the Community Health Services and Services Institute (LPPKM) signed a memorandum of understanding with PT LSP Katiga Pass. Held on Friday, December 16, 2022, in the FPH UI PKTOHS Meeting Room, the signing process was attended by the Head of LPPKM FPH UI, Dr. Ede Suryadarmawan, S.K.M., M.D.M.; FPH UI Research and Community Service Manager who is also a Lecturer in the OHS Department of FPH UI as a witness and Chair of LSP Katiga Pass, Muhammad Deny, S.T., M.Eng., and his staff.
The collaboration between the two parties aims to improve the quality of human resources (HR) through competency certification in the OHS field and expand access to OHS competency certification services. The collaboration which is planned to run for a period of 3 (three) years from the signing of this memorandum of understanding has the scope of cooperation around the implementation of competency tests in the OHS field which are carried out for all provinces in Indonesia.
The implementation of this collaboration is one of the manifestations of FPH UI’s mission as a referral center for the development and development of public health by expanding community access to education, training, and service programs as well as the science, technology and innovations produced.
