dr. Lies Dina Liastuti, Sp.JP(K), M.ARS
Lies Dina Liastuti is the President Director of the Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Nasional (National Central General Hospital) Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo. She was appointed as the President Director by then Indonesia’s Minister of Health, Prof. Dr. dr. Nila Farid Moeloek, Sp.M(K) on May 25th, 2018. After her inauguration, she was nominated as the top candidate to become the next Indonesia’s Minister of Health with around 28% amount of vote but lose to Terawan Agus Putranto.
In her early years, Lies Dina Liastuti was studying to become a medical doctor. She finished her General Practitioner education program on 1987 from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia. After graduation, she continues to study at Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia where she enrolled into a Specialist Residency Program in Cardiovascular Disease and graduated on 1995. She also learned about Hospital and Health Care Facilities Administration/Management from the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia for a few years and graduated on 2013.
With her extensive knowledge and marvelous skills, she was offered to become the Human Capital and General Affair Director at the Pusat Jantung Nasional (National Cardiovascular Center) Harapan Kita on 2006. She served on that role for almost five years before getting promoted to become the Operational Director there too. After eleven years, she moved to Rumah Sakit Pusat Kanker Nasional (National Cancer Center Hospital) Dharmais where she became the Medical Director until 2018. She then became the President Director of the Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Nasional (National Central General Hospital) Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo since then.
