Masayu Rita Dewi is currently serving as the Director of Human Resources, Education and Research at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang is a type A hospital and has the most comprehensive health services in the regions of South Sumatra, Jambi, Bangka Belitung, Bengkulu, and Lampung. In providing health services to patients, the RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang strives to always prioritize quality and principles of justice, both for patients who pay independently, and for patients who participate in the Health Social Security Administration (BPJS). As a national referral hospital, this hospital has three excellent services, namely Integrated Oncology services, Minimally Invasive Surgery services, and also Cardio-Cerebrovascular services.

In 1993, Masayu finished her medical school and graduated from Universitas Sriwijaya. She then chose pediatrics for her next step in her academic journey in which she completed in the span of 4 years, from 1997 until 2002. She also studied at Utrecht Medical Center Hospital in the Netherlands to deepen her knowledge about epilepsy and seizures in children. She got her Master of Public Health degree in Hospital Administration at the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia.
