Riznawaty Imma Aryanty, S.KM, M.KM, Ph.D

Riznawaty Imma Aryanty is a Programme Specialist – Reproductive Health at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). UNFPA is the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency that carries out a mission to deliver a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe, and every young person’s potential is fulfilled. As of 2021, the UNFPA already supports reproductive health care for women and youth in more than 150 countries, the health of pregnant women especially the 1 million who face life-threatening complications each month, and a lot more activities related to the sexual and reproductive health field.

Before working for the UNFPA, Riznawaty Imma Aryanty has worked for the WHO Indonesia as a National Programme Officer for Maternal Health/Reproductive Health for so long as 11 years. She also used to work for ICOMP as a Program Manager on 2015, as a Senior Community Development Manager for Swisscontact Indonesia on 2016, as a Research and Evaluation Advisor for IPAS on 2019, as an Independent Consultant for more than six years, and finally becoming a researcher on 2017. Her latest research talks about the Incidence of Abortion in Java.

Riznawaty Imma Aryanty received her bachelor’s degree in Public Health from the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia on 1994. After graduation, she continues to pursue a master’s degree on Community Nutrition at the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia and graduated on 1996. On 2005, she received her Graduate Certificate on Gender Studies from the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia and received her postgraduate degree in Doctor of Philosophy from the Australian National University on 2013.
