On Friday – Sunday, 16 – 18 December 2022, the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) held a workshop for staff under the General Sector, the Sector under the University Secretary and Cooperation. The General Sector consists of the Human Resources (HR) Subunit, Finance Subunit, Information Technology Subunit, Public Health Information Center (Pusinfokesmas) Subunit, Logistics Subunit, and Facility Management and Maintenance Subunit. While the field under the Secretary of the University is the Secretary of the Faculty, in which there are General Administration Subunits, Public Relations and Archives Subunits. Besides that, other workshop participants were the Non-Academic Quality Assurance Unit (UPMNA), and the Cooperation Unit. The workshop which was held at the Royal Safari Garden Hotel and Convention was attended by the Dean of FPH UI, Prof. dr. Mondastri Korib Sudaryo, M.S., D.Sc.; Deputy Dean for Education, Research and Student Affairs, Dr. Ir. Asih Setiarini, M.Sc.; Deputy Dean for Resources, Ventures and General Administration, Dr. Milla Herdayati, S.K.M., M.Sc.; Cooperation Manager, Alumni and Venture Relations, Indri Hapsari S., S.K.M., M.K.K.K., Ph.D.; Quality Assurance Manager, Dr. Besral, S.K.M., M.Sc.; Faculty Secretary, Nelasari, S.K.M., M.K.M.; as well as Deputy General Manager, Lilis Komariyah, S.Sos., M.A.R.S.
The 3 (three) days of the workshop produced productive outputs including presentation of current issues, obstacles, solutions, and suggestions related to the work of each subunit delivered by the coordinators, followed by presentations of job descriptions, obstacles, solutions and suggestions from each staff implementing the tasks in subunits, as well as discussions with the leadership on the results of the presentation. A plenary meeting was also held which summarized the results of the discussions during the workshop led by Dr. Asih Setiarini, Dr. Milla Herdayati and Dr. Besral.
“Through joint evaluations like this, we can provide input, strengthen and encourage each other by showing each other’s achievements in their respective work units. It is hoped that after the implementation of this workshop, enthusiasm will grow to carry out continuous improvement which will bring goodness to FPH UI,” said the Dean of FPH UI in his opening remarks.
In addition, Deputy Dean for Resources, Ventures, and General Administration of FPH UI, Dr. Milla Herdayati, also conveyed several things regarding future work targets. “Through this kind of evaluation, later we will be able to set further targets so that we can be even better at carrying out our duties during this close period for the next 4 (years),” said Dr. Milla.
