Sunday, October 2, 2022, Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) held a team building activity for 169 participants consisting of lecturers and education staff. With the theme “Bersama untuk FKM UI Jaya”, the event was held at Rancamaya Hotel & Resort, Bogor.
“We really need a meeting like this, after approximately 2 years of no physical interaction. As social beings, of course we also need to get closer and interact physically and face-to-face with others, especially as fellow FPH families, one of which is through this team building activity. This activity exists to unite the spirit of togetherness to build and advance FPH,” said the Dean of FPH UI, Prof. dr. Mondastri Korib Sudaryo, M.S., D.Sc., in his speech. In addition to the Dean, the Vice Dean for Education, Research and Student Affairs, Dr. Ir. Asih Setiarini, M.Sc. and the Vice Dean for Resources, Ventures and General Administration, Dr. Milla Herdayati, S.K.M., M.Si., were also present and enthusiastically participated in the team building activities until the end.
This team building activity consists of various activities used to improve social relationships by collaborating on various tasks given to each team. These activities are aimed at building a solid team by increasing a sense of belonging and trust in organizational values, building a spirit of togetherness, building effective communication and cohesiveness between team members, building proactive, positive, confident, resilient, and creative individuals, and improving performance as a team.
