The qualified management of the Study Program and the results of FPH UI accreditation are 2 topics that are recognized as comparative study destinations by other health universities from various regions in Indonesia. On Monday, June 27, 2022 FPH UI again received an offline visit from the Dean team from FIIKES Mandala Waluya University Kendari. The Mandala Waluya University Dean team was present Dean, Dr. Sunarsih, Head of the Master of Public Health Program Dr. Erwin Azizi Jayadipraja, Head of the Bachelor of Public Health Program Dr. Rahmawati, along with 4 lecturers and staff.
The visit was received by the Manager of Cooperation, Ventures and Alumni Relations, Indri Hapsari Susilawati Ph.D., Head of Bachelor of Public Health as well as Education Manager, Dr. Laila Fitria, Head of Master of Public Health Science, Dr. Budi Hartono, Secretary to The Faculty, Nelasari M.K.M and Coordinator of Public Health Information Center Fikri Wijaya, S.Hum.
During this visit, FPH UI facilitated the request from Universitas Mandala Waluya Kendari to share information related to several things, namely: management and curriculum of public health master study program, management and curriculum of public health undergraduate study program, faculty governance, and management of public health information center. Not only exposure, as many as 18 visiting participants from Mandala Waluya University, Kendari also received training in writing scientific articles from PKKLI FPH UI at another time.
The signing of a cooperation agreement between FPH UI and Mandala Waluya Kendari University was also an important agenda on this visit. This cooperation agreement (PKS) covers the implementation of education, research and community service in the field of public health. The scope of this PKS is the exchange of students in supporting the Merdeka Belajar program which will be carried out within a period of 1 (one) or 2 (two) months, exchange of guest lecturers in the field of public health, joint research, and development of innovation and information media in the field of public health through educational, research and community service program activities.
This collaboration is carried out with the aim of establishing cooperation in order to improve academic cooperation and learning quality, especially for students, improve the quality and quantity of research and support the implementation of Merdeka Belajar program.
Through this kind of activity and cooperation, FPH UI as the oldest public health institution in Indonesia, hopes to provide benefits and become a mentor for the development of public health institutions throughout Indonesia. (wrk)
