Undergraduate Public Health Study Program Undergoes Academic Internal Audit Monday, 22 August 2022, Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Universitas Indonesia (UI) has undergone Academic Internal Audit (AIA) for the Undergraduate Public Health Study Program. This internal audit is one of the efforts to prepare for the re-accreditation of the S-1 Public Health Study Program which will be carried out in December 2023. The event was attended by Prof. dr. Mondastri Korib Sudaryo, M.S., D.Sc., Dean of FPH UI; Dr. Ir. Asih Setiarini, M.Sc., Vice Dean for Education, Research and Student Affairs; Dr. Milla Herdayati, S.K.M., M.Sc., Deputy Dean for Resources, Ventures and General Administration; General Manager of FPH UI, Dr. Martya Rahmaniati M., S.Si., M.Sc.; Quality Assurance Manager, Dr. Besral, S.K.M., M.Sc.; Head of the Public Health Undergraduate Study Program, Dr. Laila Fitria, S.K.M., M.K.M.; Dian Wulandari, S.K.M, M.M., Coordinator of the Academic Quality Assurance Unit and also attended by dr. Nani Cahyani Sudarsono, Sp.KO., Head of the Auditor Team; Prof. Dr. dr. Partini Pudjiastuti T., Sp.A(K) as the Auditor Team; as well as several other stakeholders.
“This audit is an effort to ensure the quality and quality of FKM UI. We (FPH UI) are ready to receive direction and guidance so that the Public Health Study Program is getting better and ready to take part in the next accreditation, “said Prof. dr. Mondastri Korib Sudaryo, M.S., D.Sc., through his opening remarks. Furthermore, the Head of the Auditor Team also gave a speech at the beginning of the event. “This AIA event is a good opportunity to see for a moment what FPH UI has done so that it will be ready to face the reaccreditation that will be carried out in the coming year. Hopefully this AIA can be a bridge for FPH UI to better prepare itself,” said dr. Nani for FPH UI.
This Academic Internal Audit has 36 indicators, ranging from the vision and mission of the study program to the quantity and quality of community service that has been carried out. Of the 36 indicators, FPH UI won the title of Very Good in 28 indicators. These indicators, among others, are related to the vision, mission, and strategic objectives; internal quality assurance system mechanism; satisfaction of management services to stakeholders; the ratio of prospective students participating in the selection to capacity; permanent lecturer with a minimum position of head lector at UPPS; permanent lecturers of study programs with a minimum education of S-3 or S-2; permanent lecturer of the study program who has an Educator Certificate/Lecturer Certificate; activities of permanent lecturers in the study program; non-permanent lecturer; research funding for the last three years; community service funds in the last three years; activities of experts/experts; thesis/final assignment mentoring; the qualifications of the final project supervisor; the average completion time of the final project; stakeholder involvement in the curriculum evaluation and updating process; suitability of learning outcomes with the profile of the study program; study; community service; study period; the relevance of community service in the study program; educational outcomes; grade-point average; level of graduate user satisfaction; research outputs; IPR research results; the outcome of community service; as well as awards for permanent lecturers of study programs. Meanwhile, one of the things that needs to be improved from FPH UI is the completeness and neatness of its documents.
Overall, FPH UI is considered to be quite good in paying attention to the quality and quality of its education. Hopefully this Academic Internal Audit can have a positive impact as well as constructive criticism and suggestions for FPH UI, especially in preparing for re-accreditation in the coming year. (WR)
